Black Ochre Training is a proud Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering nationally accredited programs that honour Aboriginal knowledge systems and cultural ways of learning. Previously trading as Spirit Dreaming, we carry forward our commitment to culturally grounded, strength-based education with a renewed focus and an expanded course offering.

Black Ochre’s training equips learners with the essential skills and understanding needed to:

Conduct culturally appropriate kinship assessments that respect traditional systems of care.

Develop and implement genuine Aboriginal Cultural Support Plans that reflect the child’s identity, belonging, and lifelong connections to Country, kin, and community.

Challenge deficit-based systems and embed Aboriginal-led solutions into child protection and out-of-home care practice.
